17th April 2011 The day before Thomas’ second operation, we launch this website to keep friends and family up to date on what’s happening.
15th April 2011 Met Ms Sasha Burn (neurosurgeon) and Dr Sargerson (anaesthetist) to go through all the details of the operation
13th April 2011 Given news that Thomas’ brain tumour had come back and that our only hope of cure is further aggressive surgery and then proton therapy in the United States.
8th April 2011 Thomas went for his MRI scan of his brain and spine to see whether the cancer had returned.

Thomas has 4thchemo – Cisplatin

Thomas has 3rd chemo – Vincristine & Cyclophosphamide

Thomas has 2nd chemo – Vincristine & Methotrexate

9th February 2011 Thomas has 1st chemo – Vincristine & Carboplatin
8th February 2011 Thomas has Hickmann line inserted under general anasthetic
2nd February 2011 Given news about Thomas’s diagnosis.  He has an anaplastic ependymona.  A rare very aggressive cancer.
21th January 2011 Ms Sasha Burns operates on Thomas to remove the tumour.  It is a long 10 hours.
20th January 2011 Thomas has a fit out of the blue at home.  Taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool where he is diagnosed with a brain tumour after a scan that evening.
